I’m a bit of a purist. I always season my cast iron - new, or used (hey, I don’t know WHAT someone else used that old piece of cast iron for - maybe cleaning auto parts).

Excellent traditional carbon steel wok. BUT – and I emphasize this – it MUST be properly tempered before use. None of the YouTube videos or comments I have seen understand this process, and you probably will not either. So read on.

I had no idea what a small waffle maker could do for my life. LOL.
This has only one big flaw. The handle that sticks out in the front is either not big enough or just not designed well, so you can burn yourself trying to lift it.

We use this pan for everything except eggs. We’ve had this one for quite a while now so I feel like i can give a longer term review. The biggest thing I don’t like about this pan is that it didn’t feel like it came sufficiently pre- seasoned, so we looked up some videos and instructions and did it.

False represented !!! lodge says made in America but in the small print this product is made in china. Their enameled stuff is all china made trash. If I wanted china made trash I would not have paid more for what was represented as made in America .

So, I’m a chef. I bought this product with high hopes. Cuisinart is a great brand, and has been for years. The pots and pans themselves are great. The stainless steel is of very decent quality. However… the rivets that they used to attach the handles onto the cookware are made of cheap crap.

- I read the reviews on this waffle maker and clearly a lot of people who write reviews don’t read instructions. It’s coated with Teflon and nothing will stick to it providing you “season” it prior to the first time uses - as you should do with all Teflon coated pans, etc.

This is a great wok, but please make sure to follow these steps….don’t worry about the instructions the wok came with, TRUST ME, I’ve gone through two of these suckers.
