Have some lovely crystal stems, but every time we get them out for a holiday, somebody breaks one. So I decided to try a pair of these – less likely to get knocked over, and the insulation was a bonus too. I already have stemless wine glasses, so it was a logical progression!

I gave these to my niece as a gift, very nice but the first ones got broke as they were knocked off a shelf, they didn’t fall very far but shattered quite easily we both thought, but she liked them enough that I ordered another set, she will be more carful with these.

I very much enjoy these champagne flutes. They keep the sparkling wine colder and you can enjoy the beauty of the wine. I use them for just that, sparkling wine. True French champagne gets crystal flutes. I do not care if it stays as cold. That wine deserves a higher quality glass.

I love these glasses, the style is great. The only drawback is that there is a non-removable black “sticker” branding near the rim of each glass that says “Sagaform”. This branding is not shown on the pictures of the glasses.

I’ve only used them once, and run them through the dishwasher, but they seem to hold up very well. Very lightweight, but not unstable. Very attractive shape and the insulation does keep the champagne cold. Hard to believe they’re glass, but they are, so you don’t get that plasticky taste.
