This is a scam. What is not stated in the informational portion of the listing is how the liner becomes mildew free. On the packaging it states “100% Guaranteed Not To Mildew.” Then on the back it states, in much smaller print, that the warranty is only good if the proper care instructions are followed.

I don’t know what grade "stainless" this is, but I think the attached pic speaks volumes. The visible corrosion started within the first few months. I had plastic shower hooks, so that isn’t the source. Also, I had another stainless rod from another vendor (curved) in the same shower, which still looks like new.

This product is basically a hollow metal tube with two rubber caps poorly glued into the ends. Mine arrived with one cap already detached and loose in the box. The other cap was barely halfway attached and fell off with a touch. The glue is either bad to begin with, or this has been sitting in a warehouse long enough for the glue to rot.

Update: well that didn’t last long. Under a year and plating wore off then stopped rolling then scratched up perfect shower rod now I need to order a new one. I see many of these some say chrome some say stainless etc. not sure if any true. A chrome plated brass would be best since can’t rust.

This shower liner was supposed to be mildew resistant but it grew mildew in less than 4 months, and the mildew is very tough not washable.

Purchased this in February after I called InterDesign first to make sure this was real stainless steel grade 304 and was told it was and it wouldn’t rust. Well, 4 months later it’s rusting just like the same junk from the other mass retailers. They offered to send me another, but what’s the point.

We intended to use this for our east-facing guest room. The rod installed easily, and the standard grommet topped curtains easily slipped over it. However, we need heavier blackout curtains. These are only three panels, 72’’ long, and the rod bows terribly.

* Material: thickness is in between a ziplock sandwich bag and a ziplock freezer bag

The ring set looked nice enough, unfortunately the rust started to show 2 months into use and some of the rollers don’t really roll any longer, instead they just scratch the surface of the curtain rod.
Disappointing, will not buy again.

I was so excited at the prospect of getting this shower curtain; it looks beautiful online. There are a number of problems with the one I just received:
1. The holes are on the wrong side: if I were to hang it the image would be upside down.
2. The holes are too small to fit around the shower curtain rings.
